Now highly recommended to pick up during November lockdown: family plate € 25. Contains 2 cordon bleu, 2 pork schnitzel, 2 turkey schnitzel, spaetzle, croquettes, 2 sauces. In particular, the spaetzle and the cream sauce, super tasty.

We can only recommend the Gasthaus Hirsch. The food is very good. The sauerbraten and game dishes are particularly tasty. The pick-up service in corona times is also recommended. We were completely satisfied and would be happy to come back.

Since my wife suffers from wasp allergy, we didn't want to go to the beer garden, but to the pub. We waited there for over half an hour without being served. There were also people at the regulars' table who ate and immediately received their beer. The waitress totally ignored us, got cheeky when we spoke to her, lied that there were suppliers at the regulars' table (who drink several beers - whoever believes it). Those who deal with their guests like that ... NEVER, NEVER AGAIN. The answer to this entry from the host couple above was an absolute lie and deception. When we entered the inn, the host greeted us and didn't ask why we wanted to sit inside. He didn't say a word that we weren't allowed to sit inside. It is rude to say we went from table to table. We sat down at a table and stayed there until it was too long for us. When we got up to ask we put on the protective mask as it should be. Incidentally, this was the same table we had sat at 3 days before, I have to say that we were served on that day, probably because 4 French people were eating at another table. When the French left, their table was cleared immediately, but we didn't see that the table was disinfected while we were still there. To cut a long story short, every reader should form his or her opinion. For us it stays that way ... NEVER, NEVER AGAIN.

We stayed at Gasthaus Hirsch for one night and that was enough! We were treated unfriendly on arrival. When we waited outside to be able to check in, we were ignored for 10 minutes and after we asked if we could go into our room, the boss only said: "Yes, come in! If I entertain all my guests outside the counter would also be outside! " When my husband emphasized that due to the Corona hygiene regulations he did not just want to run to the side entrance behind the counter, he just replied: "That has nothing to do with Corona!" There was no interest in treating us like guests. That's why we refrained from booking breakfast. Our room was dirty. Toothpaste from the previous person was stuck to the mirror in the bathroom. The siphon in the shower was slimy, full of hair and smelled. The shower head was so calcified that it was hardly possible to take a shower because it was just drizzle. We found a used plaster in the closet and everything was very dusty. We didn't feel good. There would be potential for harm. Already because of the fantastic location. Unfortunately, the operators don't seem to be dependent on (overnight) guests.

We were here with a group of motorcyclists, the Decker family is hard to beat in terms of friendliness and helpfulness. The food was delicious and plentiful, the rooms are clean and the beer garden was very cozy. We'll be back, cruiser friends Odenwald.

The food is very good. It is not too expensive, the price is good. You don't have to wait long for the food. The service is good, friendly, nice and quick. I will definitely come again.

Were there to eat. The game dish was great, the spaetzle homemade. Everything freshly prepared. The service was super friendly. The dining room is traditional but cozy. Only the side dishes salad there were the lettuce leaves withered. I can not understand the criticism I read here. We will plan a stay with the motorcycle.

Cozy hotel, very hospitable and nice staff. Food fresh and delicious. Rooms are big and clean as well as with a balcony. Parking directly at the hotel. It was a pleasure.
